Introduction

The Kokoda Track/Trial campaign was part of the Pacific War of World War ll. It was the most significant battle fought by Australians in WW2. The campaign  comprised 
of several battles that were fought during the period of July and November 1942 between the Japanese and Allied-primarily Australian-forces in what used to be the Australian territory of Papua New Guinea. This battle truly was the battle that saved Australia
